Technically he is great, cant knock the talent but pace is required. He was beat by pacey wingers for most of championship whenever he squared up to them or went a specific direction.

remember after the 1st season back in the prem and we were all thinking 40m to spurs that summer. i dont know what happened to him or if the warning signs were always there and he overperformed just like bamford. he was always bad at set pieces but shot stopping ability has gone down the drain. he was dominant in 1v1s and now the first shot on target is a free goal. time to move on and part ways I'd take 10m to 15m given his age contract and still has potential if he can find his confidence again.

From a pure business perspective, I wouldn't complain if we sold Archie... Take the sentiment away for a second, if we get £30m plus for him then it makes complete sense to cash in.. It massively strengthens our hand from a PnL perspective & we could significantly bolster the squad in multiple areas... Also, LOVE your Rodak shout... Profit on Mes, sign a better keeper on a free, makes sense from all perspectives.

I think 2 months and 10 fixtures is ample to fix any problems caused by injuries or new players bedding in. If we are not top 5 by then and Farke is making bad calls with team selection then absolutely, get rid.

I think we need 7 players: Starting RB, RCB, #10, LW, plus bench CB (who can play L n R), LB and a winger for both sides. That's assuming we're not looking for a new GK :) - and also assuming Summerville and Gnonto are sold. I'd also sell kamara and bring in a proper 8 to rotate with Gray.

Wouldnt lose sleep over Meslier going. Sick of watching teams having first shot on target and it goes in. If Meslier wants to go, so be it, but before he goes, the 49ers have to get the right GK. Right now, there are so many speculations about our players going, but not enough about players coming.
